We identify a topological bulk response of the 2 dimensional p-wave superconductor, and relate it to the existence of a chiral Majorana edge mode. The bulk response is a Hall-like flow of momentum and energy due to a non constant order parameter, and is related to the edge mode by energy and momentum conservation, or gravitational anomaly inflow. We find these results by establishing an analogy between the p-wave superconductor and a relativistic Majorana fermion in a gravitational background with both curvature and torsion (Riemann-Cartan space-time).
