The many-body localized phase occurs in strongly disordered, interacting 1D isolated quantum systems, and is characterized by a lack of transport and of thermalization. Subjecting such systems to a generic periodic drive has a delocalizing effect which increases the critical disorder strength required for localization. Here we investigate whether a specific drive can have an opposite effect and induce localization in systems which would otherwise be delocalized.
