Anisotropic magneto-resistance (AMR) is observed in two dimensional electron gas formed at the interface between SrTiO3 and LaAlO3.[1] We studied this effect as a function of charge carrier concentration, temperature, magnetic field and current orientation relative to crystal axes. We found that AMR magnitude and shape show strong dependence on charge carrier concentration. Our results are consistent with an ``easy axis`` for spin orientation along the crystal axis. We discuss these observations in view of recent reports of magnetic order coexisting with superconductivity. [2]
