The melting curve of Te was measured in a laser heated diamond anvil cell (LHDAC). Using our IR pyrometer we were able to measure temperatures as low as 600 K. A new Imaging analysis software was implemented in order to better determine the melting temperatures. Our data is consistent with previous measurements performed in a large volume press and go to higher pressure.
