Metastable SUSY breaking is an attractive framework for extensions of the standard model, because it provides a calculable SUSY breaking sector which can accomodate direct mediation models. Unfortunately this framework generically leads to small gaugino mass and an unnatural MSSM spectrum. In this work we demonstrate in details that one can still obtain viable phenomenology when adding a specific modification to the generic models.
