The White Dove Conference Hall at Nave-Shalom (Wahat al-Salam)

I will talk about some aspects of the coupling of supersymmetric field theories to supergravity. I will focus in particular on the background field M, and discuss a prescription for how fix its couplings up to quadratic order. These couplings are generated at two-loops in perturbation theory. They enter in the Lagrangian of rigid supersymmetric theories in some curved spaces. Moreover, this analysis leads to a transparent derivation of the Anomaly Mediated soft masses. The talk is based on the work 1402.3385.
