An N = 1 Lagrangian for the rank 1 E6 superconformal theory

For a long time, the space of N=2 superconformal field theories (SCFTs) has been an interesting research ground. A peculiar feature here is the existence of N=2 superconformal field theories without a Lagrangian description manifesting the N=2 supersymmetry, making these theories harder to approach using traditional methods. However, it has been appreciated recently that one could in some cases obtain Lagrangian descriptions of these theories by allowing them to manifest less supersymmetry. I will talk about some recent progress in this front, and specifically present an N=1 Lagrangian description for the rank 1 N = 2 strongly coupled SCFT with E6 global symmetry, one of the more well known of the N = 2 strongly coupled SCFT.
